BMW Foundation is a supporter of TwentyThirty, an online magazine that highlights social innovation activities leading up to the UN sustainability targets for the year 2030.
This week features Andrew Lamb and his team at Field Ready, who provide disaster relief with 3D printing technology.
They combat lack of supplies such as broken or missing key parts of medical equipment by printing it there, instead of waiting months of shipment, as well as training locals to use the technology themselves.
